I used to work about a 1/4 of a mile from here. I love corned beef and hash and they have "the" best corned beef I have EVER had. I still crave it good thing my husband still works down there so I can have it often.

The food was outstanding (omelets and home fries were really great), and the staff was friendly. The location is perfect if you're using light rail. We'll be back to try the lunch menu.

This is our second visit to 12 East Café and we absolutely love it! Great atmosphere, great people, and the best coffee and pancakes you can ask for. The pancakes remind me of when I lived in San Francisco and the chef clearly takes pride in his work, as he should! The wait staff are attentive and make you feel so comfortable, and the coffee is exceptional and offered freely. It's a treat to have a special place to go. Thanks so much for making our morning bright!

I have been here three time for lunch and the food is always great. Portions are very good. Facility is clean. Service is friendly and professional. Parking in back is good. Access is good despite light rail construction. Prices are reasonable. Hope to be able to try it for breakfast some time.

great atmosphere, excellent food, friendly and fast service. I love this place!!! breakfast and lunch anything from pancakes and eggs to sandwiches, soup and catfish
